My hormones used to be so unbalanced that they pretty much ran my life. I have the worst PMS/PMDD/PCOS ever and went up to 4 months without a menstrual cycle. I gained about 3 pounds every cycle and my blood sugar got really bad a few days before my cycle started every month. My emotions were all over the place. You get the picture. It wasn’t acceptable. I finally went on the pills for a whole year straight because I would feel fine on the pill when during the week you’re not on it, I felt horrible. Luckily, this was during the time right after I adopted my two oldest children and didn’t want to get pregnant anyway. But eventually I wanted to get pregnant and fix all my female issues and other health issues.
