I have 9 of the best ever clean eating grill recipes. You better get the grill out and get it ready, you are going to need it when you see these. Summer is here and it’s BBQ time and I have just what you need to make those summer barbecues the best meals you’ve ever had. That’s right!
t was actually a little hard for me to decide exactly what to include in this post. All of these are cooked on the grill, some in foil, except for number one. It is such a great recipe I just had to include it.
OK. Who else here is crazy like my husband and you go out on the deck, back patio, etc. in the middle of the freezing cold winter? My husband does. We like grilling too much to only eat it during the warm months, especially now that my husband has a Traeger smoker grill.
We’ve had it for a few years and we’re totally in love with it. Now we’re spoiled and don’t like gas grills because they make food taste like propane.
I hope you like my Clean Eating Grill Recipes, some of them are my favorites, especially the first four because they are my very own. I’d like to include some other recipes I have that I think you would like.

1. 20 Minute Homemade BBQ Sauce Without Ketchup – My Natural Family
Tomato Sauce – Honey – Maple Syrup – Mustard
This is an awesome generic barbeque sauce recipe that can be used for all kinds of different meals. My favorite ways to use it are on sloppy joes, pulled pork and ribs. I also like on hamburgers, smoked meat, and chicken nuggets. It can replace ketchup too. Just use it any way you always used to use BBQ sauce in a bottle. This doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup either, so it’s more healthy for anyone.
2. Grilled Mahi Mahi Recipe in a Lemon Butter Sauce – My Natural Family
Mahi Mahi – Onion – Garlic – Lemons – Real Salt – Olive Oil – Butter – Chicken Stock
Once you make this lemon butter sauce you will want to make it every night and put it on almost everything you prepare. It’s nice enough to make for guests but it’s also easy enough to make on a weeknight. Mahi Mahi is a good fish to grill because it is firm enough to not fall apart on the grill. It doesn’t have a very fishy taste so if you know someone that doesn’t love fish for that reason, make it for them and they’ll change their mind.
3. Teriyaki Paleo Grilled Chicken Skewers – My Natural Family
Onion – Dates – Orange Juice – Chicken Breasts – Pineapple – Onion – Garlic – Coconut Aminos – Honey – Rice Vinegar
This teriyaki sauce is not sweetened with sugar, it’s sweetened with dates and a little bit of honey. All good wholesome natural ingredients that are so much more healthy than sugar. Once it’s pureed, the sweet onion and dates also help to thicken the sauce. That way you don’t need a thickening agent.
4. Red Pepper and Garlic Butter Foil Easy Grilled Whole 30 Salmon – My Natural Family
Salmon – Red Bell Pepper – Lemon – Honey
If you want to impress your guests and still have a really easy meal to prepare this is the recipe for you. It only takes half an hour to prepare AND it’s really healthy. The sauce with herbs and red peppers are really good on this because salmon has a bit of a stronger flavor than other fish and this sauce balances out the flavors. This salmon is really good served over a bed of arugula with a little salt and lemon juice instead of dressing. Healthy all around.
5. Skinny Honey Dijon Balsamic Pork Loin Chop Recipe – My Natural Family
Olive Oil – Balsamic Vinegar – Dijon Mustard – Real Salt – Garlic Powder – Honey
This really is the best pork loin chop recipe I’ve ever eaten or ever made. It’s really quick and easy to make on the grill indoors or outdoors. The marinade makes the pork tender and juicy. My 9-year-old daughter begs to have it for dinner almost every night. It is a hit at our house.
6. Paleo Fajitas with Grilled Steak and Chimichurri Sauce – My Natural Family
Steak – Cilantro – Limes – Real Salt – Garlic – Cumin – Chili Powder – Cayenne Pepper – Olive Oil – Bell Peppers – Onion – Red Pepper Flakes
These fajitas are actually really easy to make. All you do is marinade the meat and veggies, that only takes an hour. You can do anything you want while it’s marinating. Then you cook them all on the BBQ grill. Included is the best chimichurri sauce recipe and the best Paleo tortilla recipe.
7. Peri Peri Marinated Chicken Skewers – African Bites
Boneless Chicken Thighs – Olive Oil – Onions – Red Pepper – Jalapeno Peppers – Chili Pepper – Garlic – Lemon – Basil Leaves – Fresh Oregano – Coconut Milk
These BBQ chicken skewers are marinated in a sauce that is made with spicy peppers, basil, lime, garlic, and oregano. They are a really nice option for entertaining. You can make them the night before and let them marinate until you’re ready to cook them on the grill.
8. Healthy Homemade BBQ Sauce – My Natural Family
Tomato Paste – Apple Cider Vinegar – Blackstrap Molasses – Honey – Onion Powder – Garlic Powder – Real Salt – Paprika – Chili Powder – Coconut Sugar
It only takes a few minutes to make this BBQ sauce. It’s easy to put all of the ingredients in a pot and let it simmer while you’re doing something else. I like to make mine when I start by making dinner and let it simmer while I make the rest of my meal. It’s easy to customize this recipe and make it just the way you like it. You can make it thinner or thicker, sweeter or spicier. Have fun with it and enjoy a healthy BBQ sauce without high fructose corn syrup.
9. Grilled Garlic Potatoes – Ready to Yumble
Potatoes – Onion – Butter – Olive Oil – Garlic – Parsley – Seasoning Blend – Cheddar Cheese – Shredded Parmesan Cheese
I think these should be called easy peasy cheesy potatoes. They are cooked in tin foil on the grill which makes them very tender and gives them time for all of the flavors to blend together. I love to cook in foil because clean up is so easy. Just throw that foil away baby! I love using my grill because I don’t have to heat up my kitchen with the oven when it’s so hot outside.
I hope you love these clean eating grill recipes as much as I do.
