Blenders are great and pretty much a necessity for making smoothies but oh, the dilemma – which one do I buy?!? Here I have a list of the best blenders for smoothies. This list doesn’t include all of the blenders on the market, only the best ones. So what is the difference between the more pricey blenders and the less expensive blenders, really?
I’ll give you the short of it – burn out 16 cheap blenders before you give up and good a good one and then be amazed at how much better the good ones blend, how much more you can do with them and how much money you wasted burning out 16 cheap blenders. (Yes, this is my true story. Well, it was probably only like 3 cheap blenders, but you get the idea).
Below you can see the top rated blenders for sale on Amazon. When trying to decide if I should buy a product on Amazon of course I look at the customer reviews. Personally, I have not found them to be overwhelmingly helpful in this case. This is because they have people who do customer reviews professionally, so I figure they are probably biased.
On the other hand, they have customers, who in my opinion, look for things to complain about. When I look at their reviews I like to look at the percentages. I look to see what the 5 star percentage rate is and then I look at the 1 star percentage rate. If the 1 star percentage rate is say, 8% and the 5 star percentage rate is 80%, I figure that it is a pretty good product.
I also look at how many customer reviews there are. The higher the number of reviews, I think this system is more dependable. You also need to consider that some people will never give a product 5 stars no matter how much they like it. I assume they don’t think anything is perfect. So take that into consideration also.
I put the percentage rate of customer reviews under each blender to help you make a decision and so you can compare the customer rating for each blender together on one page. Go ahead and look at the customer reviews yourself – they can be very helpful. Have fun shopping whether you buy or not! Oh and happy blending too.
