Paleo appetizers are a great solution to all of those parties you are planning. I have 9 of the best Paleo recipes right here, right now for you to enjoy.
We have appetizers at our house on Christmas day for lunch and then our big meal later in the day. Appetizers are good for New Year’s Day parties, birthday parties, Halloween parties, as a matter of fact, appetizers are good for a party for any occasion or no occasion at all. My mom likes to have parties for her grandchildren for all of the major holidays. She always has cute decorations, fun kids party games, appropriate crafts and of course she always has food. She doesn’t want to have a big meal because of all the work and expense so she always has appetizer kind of food and the grandchildren love it. These Appetizers would be great for some of her parties.
Appetizers work well for a dish to take to a party or for a party you having at your home or any meal, they can be used as a side dish too.
You have to try my paleo coconut shrimp recipe, in fact, I have several shrimp appetizer recipes and I have a couple of different paleo chicken wings recipes.
Appetizers are fun to make and eat. I think appetizers are fun because I can eat a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I don’t have to eat a lot of anything. I get to taste a lot of different flavors and don’t have to eat a lot and put on a lot of pounds.
I hope you enjoy these recipes.

Paleo Appetizers Recipes
1. Paleo Coconut Shrimp with Pina Colada Dipping Sauce – My Natural Family
Arrowroot Starch – Shrimp – Coconut – Coconut Flour – Coconut Milk – Pineapple – Coconut
This is a clean eating copycat version of the coconut shrimp they serve at Red Lobster. My version of the sauce has a LOT LESS SUGAR and no alcohol. It’s sweetened with a little bit of honey. With the coconut flour and the shredded coconut, it has a good amount of coconut flavor. I think it’s delicious and oh, so much healthier.
2. Honey Lime Sesame Paleo Chicken Wings – My Natural Family
Chicken Wings – Honey – Coconut Aminos – Sesame Seeds
These chicken wings have an Asian flair that is saucy, sticky, tangy and sweet. They are so easy to make, so flavorful and are so tender they will fall off the bone. One thing I like about this recipe is that it’s not spicy, it’s sweet. You don’t have to use the blue cheese dip if you don’t want to. Plus this is a one-dish meal and you don’t need the dip at all.
3. Meyer Lemon Marinated Olives – Coley Cooks
Lemons – Green Olives – Black Olives – Fresh Thyme – Fresh Rosemary – Bay Leaves – Garlic – Red Chile – Olive Oil

Cremini Mushrooms – Dry White Wine – Dry Sherry – Garlic – Olive OIl – Fresh Parsley
Mushrooms with garlic sauce and sherry is a classic Spanish dish. It can be prepared in no time and enjoyed just as quickly. It is a wonderful summer treat. You can serve it with toothpicks or small forks.
5. Chimichurri Shrimp – Feasting at Home
Raw Shrimp – Chimichurri Sauce Recipe – Cilantro – Parley – Lime Juice – Olive Oil – Onion
These shrimp are so versatile. Prick them with a little mini fork and they are a fast flavorful appetizer. Or you can serve them over a big bowl of cauliflower rice and have a simple meal. The shrimp is sauteed in some olive oil, then tossed with some zesty vibrant chimichurri sauce. That’s all there is to it, folks. It can’t get much easier than that without opening a can and serving it, and we don’t do that, do we?
6. Happy Hour’s Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts – Fed and Fit
Water Chestnuts – Coconut Aminos – Bacon – Coconut Sugar – Avocado Oil
These water chestnut are wrapped in bacon and marinated in coconut aminos then sprinkled with just a bit of coconut sugar. Then you let the bacon do its magic. That gives you the perfect sweet-salty-crunchy appetizer. They come together very quickly and will some become your party favorite.
7. Beef Steak Bites with Fresh Horseradish Aioli Sauce – Savor the Best
Steaks – Dijon Mustard – Egg Yolks – Avocado Oil – Fresh Horseradish – Garlic – Fresh Thyme – Butter – Dijon Mustard – Lemon Juice – Egg Yolks
These steak bites are amazing, especially with this fresh horseradish aioli sauce. They are juicy and tender and a very easy appetizer to put together. Serve them at room temperature to dip them in the sauce and they’ll be gone in minutes.
8. Guacamole Deviled Eggs – Healthy Nibbles
Eggs – Avocado – Red Onion – Cilantro – Roma Tomato – Lime Juice – Garlic – Cumin – Chili Powder
These guacamole deviled eggs are gluten-free and Paleo and make a great snack or appetizer for a party. I love avocado in my deviled eggs. Once I tried it and I’ll never go back to just plain deviled eggs again. The avocado actually makes is so you don’t need to add any mayonnaise to the egg yolks. I’ve made them like this without the onion, tomato or spices and they are still wonderful.
9. Jerk Shrimp Skewers – Immaculate Bites
Shrimp – Butter – Onion – Pepper Sauce – Caribbean Pepper Sauce
This is a really delicious shrimp kebab with spices and pepper sauce. They are so succulent and absolutely wonderful. Don’t use the optional brown sugar in the pepper sauce recipe; brown sugar is NOT PALEO.
