This Paleo apple crumble is a healthy dessert made without refined sugar and is easy to make with a simple pecan and walnut topping.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Toss the apples with all the ingredients for the filling and pour into a 9×9 baking dish
  3. Combine all the ingredients for the topping, forming a crumbly “dough”
  4. Sprinkle the topping over the apples
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until apples reach desired doneness

Notes

  1. I used Sonya apples, if you use a less sweet apple (i.e. granny smith) you may want to increase the coconut sugar {*} in the filling to 1/3 cup
