I have a list of 9 Paleo cereal recipes. I have copycat recipes for that sugar-filled stuff they sell in the stores. These are way easier than you thought to make. If you can make cake or cookies you can make these. These are the best cereal recipes you’ll ever find. You can have cereal for breakfast again now and not feel like you’re missing out.
When you started eating a Paleo diet, you thought you would never eat cereal again, didn’t you? Well, you were wrong! I think you’ll really like some of these copycat recipes since they are similar to the brands you have bought in the past and loved.
Since there are only 9 recipes here I decided to stay true to the title of this post and only include one granola recipe. It’s my favorite that I developed. I don’t really think that oatmeal or porridge is cereal so I didn’t include any of those. These are for all those of you that used to love that stuff they sell in boxes at the grocery store that is full of sugar and air. I think you might like some of these even better. They will fill you up faster, that’s for sure and help you feel a lot better too.

Paleo Cereal Recipes
1. Honey Roasted Tropical Healthy Paleo Granola – My Natural Family
Macadamia Nuts – Almonds – Cashews – Coconut Flakes – Dried Mango – Coconut Oil – Honey – Cinnamon – Chili Powder – Vanilla
This homemade granola is surprisingly easy to make and way cheaper and healthy than any granola you would buy in the store. I really enjoy granola pretty much any time of the day. I like to eat it for a snack when I’m hiking, and of course for breakfast. I also like to put some in a small snack size zip lock bag and keep it in the cupboard so I can grab it when I’m on the run. It makes a good snack in the middle of the day or a little crunchy side dish to go with my lunch.
2. Crunchy Cinnamon Toast Squares – Real Food with Jessica
Sunflower Butter – Maple Sugar – Coconut Oil – Coconut Flour – Arrowroot Flour – Egg – Cinnamon – Vanilla
Did you love eating cereal before going on the Paleo diet? If you did this recipe is for you! It’s super easy to make. Although it does take some time for it to bake in the oven. Of course the longer you cook it the crunchier it will be. But it’s passive time. The trick is to roll it out very evenly so it all bakes the same. Try making a big batch and storing it for a few days. I haven’t tried it but I’m curious if it would work. I’m wondering if it would need to be stored in the refrigerator or not. Or if it needs to be in an airtight container or not. Try all the ways and let us all know what works best.
3. Banana Coconut Crunch Cereal – Pure and Simple Nourishment
Sunflower Seeds – Shredded Coconut – Coconut Flour – Bananas – Coconut Milk – Honey – Coconut Oil – Vanilla – Cinnamon
This is great for breakfast with nut milk and maybe some fruit on top but it also makes a really good snack. There are a lot of different ways you can eat this. I suggest adding it to trail mix or just eating it plain like a cracker. You can store this in the refrigerator for a few days. Not sure how many days because it never lasts long enough to know.
4. Pale-O’s Cereal – Thriving On Paleo
Coconut Flour – Cassava Flour – Coconut Oil – Vanilla – Maple Syrup – Coconut Milk
These are so easy to make even a 4-year-old can help. Yes, I know some 4-year-olds or any age for that matter that would be delighted to have some delicious homemade “Cheerios”. That’s why they are called Pale’O’s. They just missed the hole and the perfectly even round shape. Who cares about that anyway if they are healthy and delicious.
5. Cracklin Oat Bran Cereal – Real Food with Jessica
Almond Flour – Shredded Coconut – Coconut Sugar – Real Salt – Cinnamon – Molasses – Egg – Coconut Oil – Maple Syrup
My mother isn’t a cereal kind of person. She never grew up eating it much and when her mother did serve it, she didn’t eat it because she didn’t really like it. She doesn’t like anything bread like with milk on it. She doesn’t like turkey stuffing, bread pudding, any kind of cereal or anything like unto it. BUT the only kind of cereal she would ever consider eating was Cracklin Oat Bran. I think because it had a lot of brown sugar in it. Anyway, this is a copycat Cracklin Oat Bran recipe. This is easier to make than cake or cookies. It can be stored in an airtight container. Sounds like just about the easiest breakfast for the next few days after to me. Yeah!
6. Chocolate Cereal – A Girl Worth Saving
Almonds – Coconut Flour – Cacao Powder – Honey – Ghee – Real Salt – Egg White
Bring on the Cocoa Puffs! Well, at least the copycat of that famous cereal. So here are some interesting tips when making this. If you don’t store it in an airtight container it will start turning softer after about day three. That’s when it started being the consistency of a graham cracker. It takes a lot of time to make these into little balls. They’re cute but my time is worth more than that to me. From now on I’ll be rolling them out with a rolling pin and cutting them with a pizza cutter. They are also more crispy when rolled out flat and cook more evenly. So I think I’ll start calling them cocoa squares. They could also may a really good chocolate graham cracker if that’s what you’re looking for.
7. Coconut-Sugar Cinnamon Puffs – Amazing Paleo
Almond Flour – Coconut Flour – Egg White – Honey – Coconut Palm Sugar – Cinnamon – Real Salt – Coconut Oil
Here are some puffs with the cocoa taken away and cinnamon added. I wonder how long it took her to roll all that dough into little balls. They are so cute, but that will never happen at my house. I’m too lazy. I wonder if she will ever do it again when she doesn’t have to take a bunch of photos of them and try to impress us all. 🙂
8. Chex Recipe – A Girl Worth Saving
Coconut Shreds – Cashews – Tapioca Flour – Maple Syrup – Egg – Real Salt – Vanilla
Now, this looks interesting to me. Mixing coconut and cashews together with tapioca flour mixed in. Sounds delicious to me but I am a sucker for anything with cashews in it. She says this stuff is filling so don’t go pouring a ton of this stuff into your bowl and covering it with milk. You’ll have to give it to the neighbors because you won’t be able to eat it all. It’s not the stuff you buy in a box, it’s no full of air. It will stick to your ribs and fill you up until lunchtime for sure.
9. Copycat Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs Cereal – Simply Taylor
Almond Flour – Sunflower Seed Butter – Cocoa Powder – Honey – Coconut Oil – Vanilla – Real Salt
Reese’s puffs used to be a favorite of my kids back when we ate unhealthy food. This is a nice copycat minus the peanut butter of course. The sunflower seed butter works just as well and is so much better for your body. You could roll these out flat too and cut them with a pizza cutter and save a lot of time from not having to roll them into little balls. Someone, what to make an invention? Make a little thing like a cookie press that makes little balls. Maybe you can get rich off of it.
