The following is a list of the homemade Paleo sauces on my blog and a few you can buy. The sauce is the boss! And a good Paleo sauce can turn a good meal into a great meal 🙂
Whether you’re dipping or smothering or covering, we have a great sauce for you!
If you’ve recently switched over to a paleo lifestyle, you know that finding good substitutes for the meals you used to eat can be challenging. For me, noodles are something I miss – but I’m finding I really like squash or zucchini “noodles” with my favorite marinara sauce.
What do you miss on a paleo diet? Is it pesto, chimichurri sauce, hollandaise sauce, bbq, or cranberry sauce?….
What I love about these sauce recipes is that they are so versatile.
I mean, just take BBQ sauce as an example. There are at least 20 different things you can put that sauce on. It takes a plain piece of chicken and turns it into something finger-licking’ good.
Or – my favorite is #1 on the list, chimichurri sauce. I can’t tell you how many different things a good chimichurri sauce can go on. It’s delicious on just about every meat and it’s so easy to make. It’s basically herbs, lemon and oil blended together. My husband is in love with it and puts it on all sorts of meats and vegetables so his very plain diet is actually edible.
Here are some Paleo sauce recipes to try to see which ones you like. Tell us which ones have been most helpful (& tasty!) to you.
