4. Paleo Sugar Cookies – Jakes Gluten Free Market
Almond Flour – Butter – Honey – Vanilla Extract – Almond Extract – Palm Shortening – Arrowroot Powder – Coconut Flour – Coconut Oil
I know a lot of people crave some good old fashioned sugar cookies with pink frosting and sprinkles for Valentine’s day. Man, I am telling you, it’s hard to find a GOOD Paleo sugar cookie recipe that tastes like the ones you had as a child that weren’t Paleo. I’m happy to announce that I think I’ve finally found a really good one here with this recipe. All I know is the kids in the preschool class demolished them. They had no idea they were healthy. From my experience kids are the pickiest eaters so I consider that a good endorsement.
5. Coconut Lime Paleo Strawberry Shortcake – My Natural Family
Coconut Flour – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Real Salt – Chia Seeds – Eggs – Coconut OIl – Maple Syrup – Almond Milk – Vanilla – Strawberries – Honey – Lime – Coconut Cream
I think you’ll be glad you found this Paleo strawberry shortcake recipe. It is made with a Paleo version of golden shortcake that is covered with luscious strawberries. Then it’s topped with mounds of fluffy whipped cream. I think you’ll be amazed that it’s Paleo. I give several explanations and tips about how and why I make it that way I do. For example, I replace some of the eggs with chia seeds, I use my own homemade baking powder recipe because baking powder you buy in the store isn’t Paleo. I also explain how to make the coconut cream really good and how to customize it to your taste.
6. Double Chocolate Raspberry Filled Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache – Lexi’s Clean Kitchen
Almond Meal – Cocoa Powder – Chocolate Chips – Baking Soda – Eggs – Apple Sauce – Honey – Vanilla Extract – Raspberries – Coconut Milk
You get a big bang for your effort with these cute little babies. All you do is make a batch of cupcakes. Then you make a pan of ganache. You fill a cupcake pan halfway with batter, put a few raspberries on top. Then pour some more cupcake batter on top. Bake the cupcakes. Next, you dip the cupcakes in the ganache and put a raspberry on top if you want to. You don’t actually have to make a filling just put some raspberries in the center. That’s so easy to do.
7. Paleo No Bake Cookies 3-Ingredient Chocolate Pecan Truffles – My Natural Family
Coconut Cream – Dark Chocolate Chips – Pecans
Talk about EASY, these just about the easiest cookies in the whole world to make. They taste wonderful too. You can’t get better than that! You don’t even bake these cookies. The hardest part is waiting for them to cool because you do have to put them the frig for an hour or two so they’ll harden. It sure was hard waiting for them to harden up. I like to make several batches of them at a time and save them for treats and snacks. The other problem is that I have to hide them if I do because if I don’t they just seem to disappear. (I have 4 kids, that’ll do it) I hide them behind the kale in the frig and they seem to find them as easily. They don’t even want to touch the kale to move it and look behind it. I sure do think I’m smart, don’t I? Well, whatever works, you know.
8. Chocolate Covered Strawberries Dipped in Nuts – Paleo Leap
Strawberries – Dark Chocolate
You can’t have a Valentine treat without a chocolate covered strawberry, can you? I don’t think so! Did you hear the attitude in that? I’m amazed that I keep finding Valentine treats that are so easy to make. I thought some of the other recipes were easy, and they are, but I think this is the easiest. It’s called buy some strawberries and buy some chocolate. Melt the chocolate and dip the strawberries in the chocolate. You can’t get any easier than that unless you buy them already made and I can guarantee they probably aren’t Paleo because the strawberries probably aren’t dipped in dark chocolate. That’s important for a Paleo diet.
9. Chocolate Sweet Heart Cookies – Paleo Crumbs
Arrowroot Starch – Coconut Flour – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Cacao Powder – Dark Chocolate – Egg – Coconut Oil – Honey – Vanilla – Freeze Dried Strawberry Dust
These chocolate heart cookies are dipped in chocolate so they should be called double chocolate heart cookies. Since you can’t put those cute little heart shaped sprinkles that are made out of refined sugar or worse on them. These cookies are made with a really good alternative. It’s freeze dried raspberries ground into fine dust. They make the prettiest red sprinkles that are totally natural without any dyes.
Hope you have a blast making these Paleo Valentine treats.
