Here is a list of Vegan breakfast recipes and they are all healthy and taste good. I hope this list of recipes is helpful to you. When you are on a Vegan diet, breakfast can be a hard meal to find recipes for since you can’t eat bacon, sausage, ham – not even eggs or butter.
I found plenty of breakfast recipes that are Vegan but none of them were very quick and easy to make. To me quick and easy does NOT mean spending all day making bagels or doughnuts or granola bars or even granola. Even if you make a big batch and eat it for a week. That first day you make it, it isn’t quick or easy.
I intentionally included what I think are the quickest and easiest breakfast recipes I could find. I even had a hard time with pancakes and waffles but when they have very minimal ingredients and are made in a blender I figure that’s pretty easy. Otherwise, you’ll be eating smoothies, toast and chia bowls every morning.
I don’t know if you’re like me but I like to be able to just get up, eat breakfast and get on with my day. That means I spend about 5 minutes getting my breakfast ready and 15 minutes eating it. You guessed it, I usually have oatmeal with fruit in it. Now maybe I can change up my breakfast a bit and add some variety to my life. Maybe you can too with these easy recipes.
I hope you find several that become your favorites or at least get some ideas that will help you make up your own recipes.

On a Vegan diet? Want some good Vegan biscuits recipes? Want some biscuits recipes without eggs, dairy or butter? Well, if you answered yes to any of these questions, you have come to the right place.
I love vegan biscuits because they taste so good but I also love that they are so versatile. They are good for breakfast with jam or jelly or them or as a side dish for lunch or dinner. I especially like biscuits and gravy and I have some vegan biscuits and gravy recipes included here.
I have 9 Vegan biscuits recipes to share with all of you. I have included a variety of different recipes in hopes to satisfy your needs and to help you find the best recipe out there for you.
Vegan Biscuits
1. Fluffy Biscuits – Minimalist Baker
Almond Milk – All-Purpose Flour – Lemon Juice – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Real Salt – Vegan Butter
I have personally made these biscuits many times. They are our family’s favorite biscuits. They are really light and fluffy. I usually use Einkorn flour because that’s my favorite flour and coconut milk instead of the almond milk. They are the best! All-purpose flour is fine to use too, Einkorn flour is just healthier. I think you could use any kind of vegan milk you want to.
2. Rosemary Drop Biscuits with Mushroom Gravy – One Ingredient Chef
Whole Wheat Flour – All-Purpose Flour – Soy Milk – Real Salt – Rosemary – Coconut Oil – Apple Cider Vinegar – Olive Oil – Mushrooms – Shallot – Soy Sauce – Tahini – Vegetable Broth – Brown Rice Flour – Black Pepper
Biscuits and gravy and really yummy. The whole wheat flour and coconut oil help make this is a pretty healthy option. I included the ingredients for the mushroom gravy in the list above. This surely calls for a lot of different kinds of flour. I wonder why that is. I wonder why the mushroom gravy needs to be made with brown rice flour. If anyone knows, let me know in the comments below.
3. Biscuits and Gravy – Minimalist Baker
Almond Milk – All-Purpose Flour – Lemon Juice – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Real Salt – Vegan Butter – Garlic – Onion – Mushrooms – Vegetable Broth
Here is a totally different mushroom gravy and biscuit recipe. This one looks a little easier to make to me. Simply because it has a lot fewer ingredients. I love sauteed mushrooms so I’m pretty sure this is going to be good. I’m not a real big biscuit girl. I’m into dinner rolls more but I still enjoy a nice flaky biscuit once in a while.
4. Biscuits Recipe – Tori Avey
All-Purpose Flour – Almond Milk – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Sugar – Real Salt – Crisco Shortening
FYI Crisco brand shortening is totally Vegan. Some other brands may be made with lard which his animal-based. Crisco shortening states on the labels that it is all plant-based. Just remember when in doubt to read the label. Vegan butter would work fine too. My grandma used to cook with Crisco shortening all the time. It really isn’t anything new. It is close to having the same texture as coconut oil. Crisco shortening sure is a lot less expensive than coconut oil though.
5. 3-Ingredient Coconut Oil Biscuits – Gimme Some Oven
Self Rising Flour – Coconut Milk – Coconut Oil
WOW, only 3 ingredients and that definitely true. Notice how these are made with coconut oil. I really like coconut oil. It is way healthy. Even though it has a lot of fat content, it is healthy fat. So that isn’t a big deal. We need fat in our diets and healthy fat, of course, is the best way to go. Did you know that it’s been proven, but a doctor won’t tell us this, that coconut oil actually lowers cholesterol?
I’ve tried and so have several other people I know. We experimented and started using coconut oil as much as we could. I go to my doctor every 6 months and have my cholesterol tested and since I’ve been using coconut oil just twice a day my cholesterol level has gone down 50 points in a year. I only use coconut oil to fry my eggs in and fry the fish patties I eat for lunch every day. I think that’s a big improvement without any more effort.
6. Cheddar Chive Scones – The Viet Vegan
Flax Meal – Flour – Chives – Vegan Cheddar – Soy Milk – Vinegar – Sugar – Baking Powder – Vegan Margarine – Chives
I love those cheddar cheese biscuits at Red Lobster but since they have cheese and butter in them I can’t eat them. These scones are sort of a copy cat recipe for the cheddar cheese biscuits but Vegan style. Vegan cheddar cheese and vegan margarine make that possible. Where do you like to buy your vegan dairy products?
7. 5-Ingredient Biscuits – Ceara’s Kitchen
Flour – Baking Powder – Real Salt – Sugar – Vinegar – Coconut Milk
These are quite similar to the 3 ingredient biscuits under number five. The difference is the others are made with self-rising flour so you don’t have to add your own baking powder and sugar. Adding a couple of ingredients doesn’t bother me at all. I like that these have a little salt added too. If you were going to choose between the two of these I’d choose this one. That’s just me. Which one would you choose? I’ve never tried self-rising flour before. Have you?
8. Pumpkin Sage Biscuits – Minimalist Baker
Almond Milk – All-Purpose Flour – Pumpkin Puree – Real Salt – Baking Powder – Baking Soda – Cinnamon – Nutmeg – Vegan Butter – Fresh Sage
I’ve never tried pumpkin puree in biscuits before but I’m asking myself, “Why Not”. Sounds good to me. It’s nice to add a little more flavor once in a while and some color too. Now, nutmeg and cinnamon together with sage sound a little strange to me. But what do I know, it might be really good. Let me know if you give it a try. They definitely look really good.
9. Hungarian Sweet Potato Biscuits – Green Evi
Sweet Potatoes – Plant Milk – Whole Wheat Flour – Tahini – Nutritional Yeast – Green Olives – Fresh Parsley – Fresh Cilantro – Red Onion – Garlic – Lemon Juice – Lime Juice
These are definitely your average biscuit. The biscuits are made with sweet potatoes. The olives, parsley, cilantro, red onion, garlic and lemon, and lime juices are used to make the olive spread. So don’t get confused those ingredients aren’t really in the biscuits. Ha Ha, for a minute I had you going there, didn’t I? Not kidding, though that spread looks and sounds really good to me.
