This oatmeal recipe is easy to throw together before you go to bed and you will love to wake up to the smell of pumpkin and spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbl Butter, (softened)
  • 2 Cups Gluten-Free Steel Cut Oats
  • 1 15 ounce can Pumpkin Puree
  • 3 1/2 Cups Water
  • 3 1/2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup *
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Palm Sugar *
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbl Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbl Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/2 tsp Real Salt *

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of a crockpot with the softened butter.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the crockpot and whisk together until well combined.
  3. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours.
  4. Serve with toppings such as chopped pecans, cooked spiced apples, chia seeds *, flax seeds, butter, etc.
