Easy, Creamy Garlic Parmesan Bacon Pasta Recipe

This is really easy to make and my whole family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices thick cut bacon
  • 2 large cloves, garlic minced
  • 8 ounces einkorn penne pasta *
  • 2 cups chicken stock or broth
  • 1 tsp Real Salt *
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the bacon into one inch pieces
  2. In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp
  3. Set the bacon on a paper towel to drain
  4. Drain grease from the skillet, reserving 1 tsp in pan.
  5. Add garlic and cook for about one minute or until it's just cooked. Don't overcook it.
  6. Add in uncooked pasta, broth, salt and pepper and stir well.
  7. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a simmer.
  8. Cook for 13-15 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring twice during cooking and making sure there is enough broth for the pasta.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until cheese has melted. Garnish with chopped bacon and parsley.
