Get all of your healthy Instant Pot recipes right here on My Natural Family. I love my InstaPot, yes I do. Actually I have two of them because sometimes I need to use both of them at the same time when I make a meal. That would be when I need one for rice and one for a veggie or the main dish.
My favorite things to cook in anare rice, both white and brown rice. Brown rice takes a long time to cook on the stovetop but you can cook a big batch of brown rice in 20-25 minutes in an . White rice is super fast and easy to cook. All you do is put the rice and water in the pot and push one button to turn it on and it's done in like 15 minutes from start to finish.
The other thing I like to cook in theis boiled eggs. Super easy and they are super easy to peel. Just put the eggs in the pot on the wire rack or in a metal basket. Add one cup of water, put the lid on, and cook them on manual for 8 minutes. As soon as the 8 minutes is up, turn off the , let the steam out, and immediately put the eggs in cold water. Let them sit for 1 minute then peel them with the cold water running over the egg as you peel it. The shell comes off so easy, I can usually have a perfectly smooth peeled egg.
Anis also a very good way to cook steel-cut oats because you can cook them so much faster. You'll have to google it for more specific directions.
I like to cook sweet potatoes to make mashed sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving. Russet potatoes are quick and easy to cook in thetoo. Baby carrots cook up fast in the pot also. I'm sure you can think of a lot of other uses for the InstaPot also. I'd love to hear from you.
