You have just found 9 of the best ever easy to make clean eating appetizer recipes. Easy, cheap Clean Eating appetizers make for great parties.
We have a lot of extended family parties in our family. My mom plans what she calls grandchildren parties for a lot of the holidays. She has games for them to play and of course a lot of good food.
Mom doesn’t want her grandkids eating very much sugar so she always has good, healthy food. These parties usually happen in the middle of the day on Saturdays so she doesn’t want to prepare a full meal.
She likes to have a bunch of appetizers to choose from but not so much that we don’t want to eat dinner when that time comes. These would be great for some of her parties. This green hummus would be good for a St. Patrick’s Day party or maybe even the cucumber cups.
I tried to pick Clean Eating appetizer recipes that are easy to make and cheap to buy. I realize that easy and cheap are both relative, and maybe even appetizers are relative. What I think is an appetizer, you may not consider it to be so.
Your idea and my idea of easy and cheap may not be the same. But I tried to do my best and choose the very best recipes that I have to share with you today.
I have a big variety like shrimp, chips, hummus and chicken wings. I knew you wouldn’t want 9 chicken wings recipes, for example. I hope you find several to try and I hope you enjoy all of the options we have here.

1. Paleo Coconut Shrimp with Pina Colada Dipping Sauce – My Natural Family
Arrowroot Starch – Shrimp – Coconut – Coconut Flour – Coconut Milk – Pineapple – Coconut
This is a clean eating copycat version of the coconut shrimp they serve at Red Lobster. My version of the sauce has a LOT LESS SUGAR and no alcohol. It’s sweetened with a little bit of honey. With the coconut flour and the shredded coconut, it has a good amount of coconut flavor. I think it’s delicious and oh, so much healthier.
2. Raw Corn Chips – The Healthy Family and Home
Organic Corn – Ground Flax Seeds – Water – Himalayan Pink Salt
Now you can make your own raw corn chips by using organic non-GMO corn by using a Vitamix and a dehydrator. By making your own you can use all of the freshest organic ingredients and have a lot of fun doing it. You can also add other ingredients to make different flavors such as cilantro, jalapeno, garlic, onion or chili.
3. Safe Catch Tuna Cucumber Cups – Grits and Chopsticks
Tuna – English Cucumber – Bell Pepper – Celery – Mayo – Mustard – Sweet Paprika
You make a good tasting tuna salad with cucumbers, peppers, and celery and place it on top of some English Cucumbers. Now you can’t get much easier than that. Cut the cucumbers smaller than in the photo. The cucumbers had to be cut larger for the photo so you could actually see them. The cups taste better when the cucumbers are cut thinner.
4. Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms – Eat Healthy Eat Happy
Portobello Mushrooms – Onion – Red Bell Pepper – Celery – Garlic – Ginger – Pecans – Olive Oil – Soy Sauce
These portobello stuffed mushrooms have a lot of flavors packed into them with a few natural healthy ingredients. They make a great easy to make an appetizer with a big splash of flavor.
5. Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus – Garnish With Lemon
Garbanzo Beans – Cilantro – Italian Parsley – Garlic – Jalapeno – Limes – Olive oil
The jalapeno adds a lot of flavors but the cilantro and lime counteract the heat of the pepper to make a really nice flavored hummus. If you want super smooth hummus just squeeze each individual bean and pop off the outside coating. It’s easy to make for a super smooth hummus.
6. Roasted Garlic Cauliflower Dip – My Natural Family
Sour Cream – Greek Yogurt – Garlic – Cauliflower – Green Onions – Fresh Rosemary
This cauliflower dip is really good with crackers or veggies but it is also really good as a sauce over meat or chicken. It’s jam-packed with flavor and it’s really easy to make and you can’t get any better than that.
7. Little Potato Stacks – Food Well Said
Potatoes – Butter – Rosemary – Salt – Pepper
I used little creamer potatoes to make these potato stacks but you don’t have to. Some tricks I learned from making these is to use a mandolin to slice the potatoes. I cooked them inside of greased mini muffin tins. I put the butter on the potatoes cold, that’s really easy.
8. Bacon-Wrapped Dates – Tastes Lovely
Thin Cut Bacon – Dates
That’s not a mistake, only two ingredients which means easy peasy. Heat the bacon in the microwave, wrap it around a date, put a toothpick in it. Then bake it in the oven for 10 minutes and wallah! that’s it. They taste much better when warm 10 minutes after they are baked.
9. Cinnamon Roasted Paleo Almonds Recipe – My Natural Family
Egg Whites – Vanilla Extract – Maple Syrup – Coconut Palm Sugar – Ground Cinnamon – Raw Almonds
Remember that cinnamon sugar you used to make when you were a kid and put it on buttered toast? Well, just imagine cinnamon sugar all melted and roasted on some nice fresh almonds. Especially when they are still warm. Oh, I can smell them just thinking about it. Do you ever buy cinnamon roasted almonds in the mall when you go shopping?
