I know what it's like to be allergic to dairy foods. I absolutely love cheese but I haven't eaten much of any in years. Actually I'm not really allergic to it I'm just sensitive because I can eat a little bit once in a while but a couple of weeks ago I had a meal with more cheddar cheese than I'm used to eating. Man, my stomach hurt for hours, it was hurting when I went to bed but thankfully it wasn't hurting when I woke up in the morning.
That's why I stay away from dairy. From what I've read I think a lot of other people are just sensitive too but to me, it doesn't matter what you call it, I still don't want to eat it because I don't want my stomach to hurt.
The good news is there are alternatives to eating dairy which are very good alternatives too. The other option is to just eat foods that don't normally include dairy in them anyway.
I have some of both kinds of recipes below. I have recipes for main dishes, side dishes, and even desserts that are all dairy-free.
I hope you enjoy at least some of them but I think you'll enjoy all of them. Go ahead give some of them a try but I think you'll be back to try some more.
Dairy-free foods are actually very delicious and usually, I can't tell the difference. I don't think you'll be able to tell the difference either. I may even like them better.
