I don’t care but I have 9 of The Best Whole30 Chicken Crock Pot Recipes for Any Meal you are going to love.
I keep hearing about Whole30 everywhere, so I finally researched it to see what the Whole30 diet is. From what I read on this article and others, it’s basically a Paleo diet minus added sugar (including honey, coconut sugar, maple syrup, molasses etc.) and minus wine because sugar is added to wine to make it ferment.
So, from my understanding a Whole30 diet means you can eat a lot of meat, fruits and vegetables and nuts except cashews and peanuts. You cannot eat any dairy foods or whole grains or legumes but you can eat alternative flours like almond or coconut flour. You cannot eat any processed foods and like I said above no sugar.
All of the recipes here are sweetened naturally, usually with fruit. Some of the recipes are also pictured with non-Whole30 ingredients, like tortillas, rice, naan, etc. In those cases, the main dish is Whole30. Just don’t have the sides they suggest.
You need to know that some of the recipes here call for tomato sauce or tomato paste. Most of the brands of tomato sauce you can buy in a regular grocery store are not clean. Which means they have processed ingredients or have ingredients added, usually sugar that are not acceptable on a Whole30 diet. If you buy the right brand of tomato sauce and tomato paste they are acceptable on a Whole30 diet, so make sure you buy the correct brands, read the labels. I suggest you buy the Muir Glen Organic brand of tomato sauce.

1. Whole30 Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe – My Natural Family
For Whole30, don’t eat the naan bread pictured
This crock pot chicken tikka masala is from traditional Indian cuisine but this is a simplified version. It’s not exactly like you would find in India or a authentic Indian restaurant. It is easy, simple and healthy. I use coconut milk as one of the main ingredients. I brown the chicken with the spices and onion first so it develops a nice rich flavor for the sauce. You can buy Garam Masala in a typical Indian grocery store. I’ve also seen it in some regular grocery stores. So I think it’s becoming more popular and people are loving it more.
2. Nourishing Crock Pot Chicken Soup Recipe – My Natural Family
Chicken Thighs – Carrots – Onion – Kale
I call this chicken soup “nourishing” because it not only has fresh hearty vegetables and juicy tender chicken. You create your own chicken broth by using bone-in chicken thighs. You could make it more nourishing by adding some additional chicken bones so you can get even more bone broth flavor if you want to. You could add cooked noodles later after you’ve served portions for the Whole30 eaters, if you have some people in your home that don’t eat Whole30.
3. Basil Coconut Curry Chicken Recipe – My Natural Family
I absolutely crave this chicken curry a lot. It is so flavorful and the chicken is very tender when it is cooked in the crock pot. I chose chicken curry to be one of the recipes that I like to simplify and make it more Americanized. This is a traditional Thai dish but I changed it to cook it in the crock pot and I think it’s truly awesome. We eat it a lot at out house.

5. Whole30 Slow Cooker Pumpkin Coconut Curry Recipe – Table for Two
This crock pot pumpkin coconut curry isn’t the most beautiful dish in the world. Let me tell you though it is one of the most delicious meals you will eat this fall. It reminds me of a meal I could get if I went to an authentic Indian restaurant. This isn’t technically an authentic Indian dish but the ingredients and flavor could totally fool you and make you think it is.
6. Whole30 Crock Pot Cauliflower Chicken Chili Recipe – Cook Eat Paleo
This chili recipe has a secret ingredient that isn’t much of a secret. You guessed it – it’s cauliflower! I used cauliflower to replace a lot of different ingredients for Whole30 cooking. Sometimes I use cauliflower to replace garbanzo beans or flour as a thickening agent. This time I’m replacing the beans with cauliflower.
7. Whole30 Slow Cooker Lemon Thyme Chicken Recipe – The Natural Nurturer
Chicken – Lemon Juice – Bay Leaves – Garlic
This slow cooker chicken is a favorite to make for those busy nights when you have very little time to spend cooking in the kitchen. I like to put this in the crock pot before I leave to work in the morning and when I return after a long day it is ready to eat. A whole chicken is used instead of breasts or legs or thighs because a slow cooker cooks slow and low. Because it is cooking for so long, it will dry out less than smaller pieces of chicken will.
8. Easy Whole30 Creamy Crock-Pot Coconut Curry Chicken Recipe -The Iron You
For Whole30, omit the rice and eat it like a soup or substitute with cauliflower rice or mashed cauliflower
This coconut curry chicken is so easy to make it’s almost embarrassing. It’s a cinch for sure. It only takes 5 minutes to make the sauce. Then you throw everything else in the crock pot and leave it and let the crock pot do all the work. When it’s done you have slightly spicy super creamy coconut curry chicken that will melt in your mouth.
These days I like to know what I’m eating and what I’m feeding my family. That’s why I quit eating out and started cooking a lot more. I love cooking chicken in the slow cooker because it is always fall off the bone tender. That is unless I procrastinate or forget to start cooking it when I need to. This butter chicken is especially good cooked in a crock pot.
