This is a healthy easy dessert which is filled with fresh strawberries and the top is drizzled with homemade Nutella and whipped cream. It’s the perfect Valentine’s day dessert. 3. Chocolate Covered Strawberry Brownies – Bakerita
These baked brownies with fresh strawberries sprinkled over them are topped with a nice chocolate mixture that firms up to create a lovely smooth chocolate layer. The fudginess (fudginess really isn’t a word so I don’t know how to spell it:)) of the brownies with the freshness of the strawberries and the richness of the chocolate makes a divine Valentine treat.
4. Paleo Sugar Cookies – Jakes Gluten Free Market
I know a lot of people crave some good old fashioned sugar cookies with pink frosting and sprinkles for Valentine’s day. Man, I am telling you, it’s hard to find a GOOD Paleo sugar cookie recipe that tastes like the ones you had as a child that weren’t Paleo. I’m happy to announce that I think I’ve finally found a really good one here with this recipe. All I know is the kids in the preschool class demolished them. They had no idea they were healthy. From my experience kids are the pickiest eaters so I consider that a good endorsement.
5. Raspberry Truffle Dessert for Two – Unconventional Baker
If you need an easy last-minute treat this would work. You should maybe already have all of the ingredients on hand except for maybe the raspberries. All you do is put some raspberries in the bottom of a cute little bowl. Then you make the chocolate sauce and pour it over the raspberries. Next, you sprinkle the top of it with whatever you’d like. Shredded coconut and/or more raspberries are suggested. Finally, you put it in the freezer for 20 minutes. That’s it except for eating it of course.
6. Double Chocolate Raspberry Filled Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache – Lexi’s Clean Kitchen
You get a big bang for your effort with these cute little babies. All you do is make a batch of cupcakes. Then you make a pan of ganache. You fill a cupcake pan halfway with batter, put a few raspberries on top. Then pour some more cupcake batter on top. Bake the cupcakes. Next, you dip the cupcakes in the ganache and put a raspberry on top if you want to. You don’t actually have to make a filling just put some raspberries in the center. That’s so easy to do.
7. Strawberry Truffles – Amy Sheree
Chocolate – Coconut Milk – Freeze Dried Strawberries
I may have found the easiest Valentine treat in the world with these strawberry truffles. This is how easy it is. You blend some freeze-dried strawberries in the blender until you have a fine powder. Then you make the 2 ingredient chocolate into balls and refrigerate it until cool. When it’s cool enough you roll it in the strawberries. That’s it, people, that’s all there is to it.
8. Chocolate Covered Strawberries Dipped in Nuts – Paleo Leap
Strawberries – Dark Chocolate
You can’t have a Valentine treat without a chocolate covered strawberry, can you? I don’t think so! Did you hear the attitude in that? I’m amazed that I keep finding Valentine treats that are so easy to make. I thought some of the other recipes were easy, and they are, but I think this is the easiest. It’s called buy some strawberries and buy some chocolate. Melt the chocolate and dip the strawberries in the chocolate. You can’t get any easier than that unless you buy them already made and I can guarantee they probably aren’t Paleo because the strawberries probably aren’t dipped in dark chocolate. That’s important for a Paleo diet.
9. Chocolate Sweet Heart Cookies – Paleo Crumbs
These chocolate heart cookies are dipped in chocolate so they should be called double chocolate heart cookies. Since you can’t put those cute little heart shaped sprinkles that are made out of refined sugar or worse on them. These cookies are made with a really good alternative. It’s freeze dried raspberries ground into fine dust. They make the prettiest red sprinkles that are totally natural without any dyes.
Hope you have a blast making these Paleo Valentine treats.
