The following are Clean Eating crock pot recipes to help you create a delicious, from-scratch meal with little effort. To me, Clean Eating means to eat what I would call "from scratch".
My mom grew up on a farm in Idaho and grew up eating Clean and didn't even know it. She passed a lot of those recipes on to me. She ate from the garden and killed her own chickens and beef.
She drank milk straight from the cow and bought very little from the grocery store. It's funny how with all the modern advances in the world, we find that going back to our roots with eating is actually much healthier for us.
Clean eating is a little more involved than just eating homemade, from-scratch foods. It's not eating any processed foods, so no sugar, white flour or food additives or processed foods.
Eating clean, or "real" really doesn't have to be difficult and once you get used to it, you start to think that all the processed junk out there in the world looks, smells and tastes disgusting, At least that's what has happened with my children and myself.
My children have become food snobs now that we eat clean. They won't eat anything frozen and now they don't even want to eat school lunch. They also think most restaurants aren't very good. It's pretty sad when my 10-year-old can cook food that tastes better than a lot of restaurants out there.
Most of these are a complete meal you can make in the crockpot in the morning or early afternoon and it will be ready to eat at dinner time. Crock pots are so convenient and I just love mine. I use it all the time.
I might even go as far as to say that crock pots are one of the top ten best inventions of all time. Of course, behind indoor plumbing, cars, telephones, computers and electricity, which incidentally you need to use a crockpot. Anyway, you get the idea.
I think crockpots are especially useful for Clean Eaters because we end up having to make so many meals from scratch. Which takes a lot longer than opening a can, box or bag bought from the store. We need all the help we can get.
I love to use the crockpot (or slow cooker). It is so easy - throw the food in and forget about it for a while - come back later and dinner is made. I thought it would be fun to find a lot of good Crock Pot Recipes that are clean that I could use for myself since I love using the crockpot so much. Then I decided to share them with you too.

I've already tried a few of these and some of them are in our regular rotation so I'm excited to try a few more. I really like the looks of the meatballs. It looks so easy to just put them right in the sauce to begin with!
