Healthy Breakfast Recipes
Get all of your healthy breakfast recipes right here on My Natural Family. Believe me, I know how hard it is to eat a good healthy breakfast especially every day. Breakfast can be so boring and mundane, there aren't a lot of different kinds of foods that most people think are appropriate for breakfast. Why is that? I know I'm the same. There some things I just can't even think about eating early in the morning.
Then we have to the problem, which incidentally is my biggest problem. I want my breakfast to be really quick and easy to make and eat. I'm always in a hurry to get my day started. It doesn't matter if you run off the work or work from home and don't work at all. There is always something urgent that needs to be done.
For me variety is the secret but that's really hard to do. That's why I made this index or list of healthy breakfast recipes. I used to eat the same old boring oatmeal every morning then I got so sick and tired of it that I haven't eaten oatmeal in years. That's not the way to do it and it certainly isn't healthy either. Even our body needs variety to get all the different vitamins and minerals it needs.
Some of my favorite recipes on this list are the overnight oatmeal recipes. They are all the same basic recipe which can be made the night before and eaten in the morning. Each overnight oatmeal recipe is different though because they each have other ingredients added which make for variety and ease. You should really give all of them a try.
Some of the recipes can be made ahead of time and eaten later which is another way to have a quick and easy breakfast. Think about it, you could even make pancakes one day but make enough mixture for 2-3 days and store it in the refrigerator and the next day it's all made, and all you have to do it cook it up.
You can make a large batch of muffins and store the extra muffins in the refrigerator or freezer to eat another day. Be creative and think of your own ways to save time. I'd love to hear your idea too.
